Prospectus S1 System and Information Technology
The Information Systems and Technology (STI) study program is a combination of Information Systems and Information Technology study programs. Similar but not the same, in this study program we will certainly study computer science and programming, but in the STI study program we will also be equipped with business management knowledge, and the basics of understanding electrical engineering. Basically, this study program was born to answer all the problems of society regarding the need for information technology. Information Systems and Technology students are required to understand the development of information technology and its relation to social, economic, and political values in society. STI students are taught to analyze problems in a company or organization and find and produce solutions based on information technology systems Educational Goals: The educational objectives of the Information Systems and Technology Study Program are as follows:
Producing graduates who have integrity, can be trusted, have high academic abilities and uphold professional values in the field of information systems and technology
Producing graduates who are able to carry out professional values with institutions and the business world and industry and are able to create jobs for themselves and others
Producing graduates who carry out research and innovation in dealing with and following the development of science, technology and art in the field of systems and information technology, and can have a positive impact on improving the welfare of the wider community throughout life
Competence of graduates: The profiles/competencies of graduates of the Information Technology and Systems Study Program are as follows:
Understanding the dynamics of system issues (business, management, regulation).
Systematic analysis and synthesis of a problem area and produce solutions in the form of design and implementation in real life.
Adaptation and interaction with the user community
Mastery of interaction aspects in large systems (multi-dimensional).
Profession and Career Graduates Bachelor of Information Systems and Technology
Government organizations, either at the district/city, provincial or central level. The need for human resources with system expertise and quality information technology for government organizations will be enormous.
For-profit organizations (BUMN and private). Graduates of the information technology and systems study program are expected to play a role in the development and management of information systems
Software industry. Graduates of the information technology and systems study program are expected to be able to act as information systems software developers or consultants
